Jammer a.k.a. Jon, a native Minnesotan, took his first shot at singing karaoke in 1992 at The Underground in Hutchinson.  His first song was “Born to Be Wild” by Steppenwolf.

Jammer started running karaoke shows for Jerry Beth Premiere Karaoke in 1997.  There he met his good friend and mentor Jerry Beth, now of Jerry Beth Karaoke, as well as his good friend Ame Jo, who with her boyfriend Sin (also a good friend of Jammer’s) run the karaoke company Music Box Entertainment.  After leaving Jerry Beth Premiere Karaoke he worked for Oasis Entertainment and later rejoined Jerry Beth and Jerry Beth Karaoke.  In 2001, Jammer took his experience and branched out on his own by starting Full Throttle Entertainment.

The company name Full Throttle Entertainment was selected because Jammer wanted to emphasize “going all out” in life, karaoke, and having fun.  Contrary to belief, Jammer gained his nickname not as a karaoke host but when he was much younger and used a CB handle.  His name indicated the volume of the stereo or the position of the gas pedal in the car!  He jammed to loud music or jammed the pedal to the metal!

Jammer has accumulated over 22,000 different songs for his karaoke selection.  He runs a great show using multiple systems which can be configured to meet a wide range of entertainment needs using various sizes of Yamaha, E/V, and JBL speakers, corded and wireless microphones, and various lighting fixtures.  He's always on the look out for new lights, equipment, and music to add to his repertoire.

Prior to karaoke, Jammer a 1989 Glencoe, MN graduate was a Specialist E4 in the National Guard Army for 9 years where he was a Bridge Engineer.  As a teen and into his mid-twenties, Jammer honed his stage presence by acting in several plays at the Buffalo Creek Players Theatre in Glencoe which was then run by Millie Beneke.

Currently, when he’s not running karaoke or DJ shows, he likes to fish, ride motorcycle, play computer games, watch NASCAR, and spend time with his family and wife Lynn and their dog Samson.
